WOMEN'S WELLBEING INITIATIVE

Mental health challenges, often worsened by social, economic, and cultural pressures, especially affect women and young girls. In Rwanda, stigma surrounding mental health issues and limited access to resources further compound these challenges. Recognizing these gaps, Women GAIN Rwanda has initiated the ubwuzu wellness project under the Mental Health and Well-being Program to enhance a culture of overall health through structured activities and support mechanisms. This initiative aligns with the organization's mission to empower women and contribute to their active and productive participation in society.
